| Over the weekend, together with Bertie-poohs, or fuzzy-rabbit as I like to call him, we have had some wonderful ideas of flavours to add to our fruit tea assortment. Ooh, it does fill me with such joy when we land on a delightfully refreshing new blend. Echinacea infused with elderflower and a hint of raspberry really does get the proverbial taste buds aroused after a hard afternoon of croquet in one’s garden. It will also be highly diverting next time Rob(ga) comes round to visit. I’m sure he will be so glad to partake of our new fruit tea. We always offer him such an expansive selection. We can never comprehend why he asks for ‘normal’ tea. Phfff! Why he would want to drink that awful Yorkshire Tea I just don’t know. It’s just so ‘tea’ tasting. None of the fruitiness of our creations. At least my Bertie isn’t like that uncouth Yorkshireman or that redneck American, the Kagga. At least I have managed to instruct him that staying in to help me with my knitting, while keeping me in constant flow of ever-increasingly splendid fruit beverages is far better than popping round to the nearest public house to sup pints of ‘Ghost Ale’ or ‘Abbott Ale’ like any old plebian. It’s a dandy thing, too, because Bertie-wertie gets a bit gassy and tends to let out loud ejaculations (get your mind out of the gutter –snoring!) excessively after a few of those non-fruity beers. Why, I don’t wish to be indecorously vulgar but you might say that non-fruity beer makes the scent around Bertie a bit fruity. Tee-hee! |
